PREMIERE EVENTS
"I wore my coat, with golden lining bright colors shining, wonderful and new... and in the east, the dawn was breaking and the world was awaking.... any dream will do..."-- from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Rocky Mountain HDC invited over 250 guests to view the production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" playing at the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center. It was a special celebration for partners, funders, local business people and members of the faith community who have supported the RMHDC over the years. Proceeds from the performance are to benefit the Family Services Program at Rocky Mountain HDC. The colorful evening began with a pre-show reception. Guests enjoyed drinks and refreshments as well as hors d'oeuvres and desserts from Footers Catering. There was also some favorites for the younger guests, mini pizzas and macaroni & cheese, a little something for everyone. After some mingling and visiting with friends, guests were invited to the upstairs theater to be seated for the upcoming performance. When everyone was settled, RMHDC Executive Director Joyce Alms-Ransford welcomed the crowd. She also introduced President David Nestor, who thanked all of the families who have been a part of the RMHDC programs. He then spoke briefly about the Family Services Program. He also acknowledged the sponsors who have supported them. Next, staff member Scott Romero took a moment to recognize the volunteers and staff. It was with admiration and respect that he offered his appreciation. And a final presentation was given to Brooke Jackson, who coordinated the evening. Joyce Alms-Ransford offered Brooke a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. It was then time to dim the lights and for the guests to enjoy a delightful presentation of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
