| Statement of Purpose: | For the first time in Denver’s history, it will host the 2008 Congressional Medal of Honor Society Convention for America’s most esteemed heroes. This historical event will be held from September 16-20, 2008. Throughout the convention there will be a series of public and private events, culminating with the distinguished National Patriot Awards Gala on the evening of September 19. This patriotic evening will pay tribute to America’s most honored men upon whom our nation has bestowed its highest award for valor – the Medal of Honor. | ||
