Description |
The 19th Century, Victorian Era was a time that reflected many styles. Travel abroad to foreign countries and the Industrial Revolution greatly influenced creative people of many disciplines. Embracing cultural design aesthetics and principles, ultimately lead to the production of very ornate to very minimal but elegant decorations for these creations. This is evident in the furniture and textiles of architect Edward William Goodwin, the rich colors and patterns from designer George Haite and William Morris. Inspiration for this tree collectively incorporates interpretations of historical facts of everything exciting and beautiful. Stylized motifs based upon natural forms: flowers, birds, insects found in Japanese art, feather trees, glass, rich textiles, wood, jewels and tinsel. |
