Come learn about High Precision Devices.  HPD develops and makes scientific instruments - and to a lesser extent parts - for researchers at universities, government laboratories and private companies in a variety of sectors. The privately owned business was founded by Bill Hollander in 1993, gradually expanding into more space over the years. The company’s core technologies include precision mechanics, optics, vacuum and ultra-high vacuum, electronic sensing and control, and cryogenics.

Meet the Colorado company that enabled last year’s Nobel Prize in physics by providing a key component in the device that proved Albert Einstein’s gravitational wave theory. High Precision Devices, or HPD, has come a long way since 1993 when it had just two employees in a 2,000 square foot space.
