| Statement of Purpose: |
To provide people with ALS, their families, and caregivers with: information on
ALS
guidance, local
resources, augmentative communication device loan program, in-home
visits, a
durable medical equipment loan closet, support groups and increased
awareness
of ALS. We also hope to stimulate public support and volunteerism in
the fight
against ALS, to promote an understanding of the role of The ALS
Association and
to provide funds for scientific research directed at identifying the cause
and cure of
ALS. |
