| Statement of Purpose: |
This exclusive event is a rare opportunity to meet the living legends portrayed in the George Lucas movie, Red Tails, January 22, 2012, at Movie Tavern in Aurora, Colorado. The event will consist of a showing of recorded interviews of local Tuskegee Airmen, showing of Red Tails, and an opportunity to meet the Airmen.
General admission tickets are $10. Premium ticket holders ($100) will also enjoy a complimentary dinner with our local documented original Tuskegee Airmen honorees.
Proceeds will go to On Laughter Silvered Wings (OLSW), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving youth in the Denver metro area. OLSW uses aviation to inspire youth to excel in school and pursue their dreams. OLSW challenges students to improve their grades, providing incentives and tutoring. OLSW aviation programs engage youth with hands-on experience in flying and building airplanes (http://olsw.org). A donation will also be made to the scholarship fund of the local Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. chapter. |
