Statement of Purpose: The Colorado Quilting Council, Inc. is a non-profit statewide organization whose objective is to assist in preserving the heritage of quilting, to be a source of information and inspiration, and to encourage a high standard of excellence in quilting and related arts. Regular meetings are usually held on the fourth Saturday of the month in various Colorado cities. The schedule starts with registration at 9:30am, followed by a short business meeting, a program related to quilting, door prizes and show and tell. Guests are welcome to attend meetings. The July meeting is dedicated to the Council's birthday. The annual meeting is held in December, with installation of officers for the following year. Each September Quilt-A-Fair is held.
