Have You Met?

“Dress up or dress down -- that’s your business. Dress well --that’s my business,” says Doug Paris, owner and founder of Doug Paris Wardrobe and Designs, a local custom clothing company.

Doug manages and designs individual wardrobes for his clients based on budget, style, suggestions and requirements for professional and social clothing. He caters to business owners, executive decision makers and anyone who truly values his or her time and exquisite, custom-made clothes.

Doug started his Wardrobe and Design Company in Tulsa, Okla. and now serves clients in Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, Tulsa, and Chicago.

“All of us have a style,” he says. “All of us have a presence that we’ve developed over the years. My job is to enhance that, whether it be through particular styles, fabrics, or designs.” Although Doug’s selections and creations are abundant, he likes to stick to the “less is more” principal, and value is always a critical part of his clothing equation.

“I’m always seeking out or visualizing particular styles and fabrics that enhance my clients,” he says. Doug has just completed an entire new line of women’s wear -- The Paris Collection -- which includes designs ranging from casual to professional wear; from a simple black dress to evening gowns.

So if you’d like to check out Doug Paris’ creations, he’s having a fashion show/afternoon tea featuring The Spring/Summer 2002 Paris Collection at 2 p.m. May 16 to benefit the Jacqueline Robins Ralphs Foundation. This afternoon of haute couture, tea and joie de vivre will be at the Metropolitan Club. Call Sheila Stewart at 303-790-1117 for more information.
