Labor Day is the last weekend to wear white clothes (according to old society fashion rules), so to celebrate, a White Party was held to benefit Dani's Foundation at Milagro Taco Bar. Attendees were asked to dress entirely in white.

"This event started as a small party for my friends, but I thought it would be fun to donate our proceeds to a charity," commented event organizer Jim Guttau. "I hope this event will be an annual event and grow each year."

Milagro Taco Bar, a new restaurant at 1700 Vine in Denver, donated 100% of the evening's proceeds to the foundation. Attendees also participated in a silent auction which featured Beijo handbags and massage gift certificates.

Dani's Foundation was formed in memory of Dani Stell who lost her battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, a form of bone cancer in April of 1999. Her mother, Michele, founded the organization to raise money for teen cancer research.
