Celebración! with the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrated their monthly after-hours party event with a Feliz Navidad themed holiday party in the swanky Grand Ballroom of the Denver Athletic Club.

The entry fee was a toy.  The more than 400 donated toys will be given to children from Servicios de la Raza, The Denver Inner City Parish and Robby’s Friends.

The mission of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is to promote and advance the growth of Hispanic business.  The chamber is a membership-driven organization of Hispanic businesses, professional associations, and corporations working together to provide partnership opportunities through programs and services designed to help the members to meet their goals.

Cingular Wireless, the after-hours event presenting sponsor, raised the bar by making each of their 14 stores a site for toy donations as part of the Chamber’s drive.

The 400 grazers enjoyed traditional Hispanic cuisine prepared by Chef Dominic.  The buffet included fresh tamales, mouth poppin’ poppers, and a special Christmas tree display Croquenbouch dessert.  Delicioso!

As guests mingled and enjoyed the Latin Jazz tunes from Conjunto Colores, they could stop and relax with a chair massage given by Eye of the Storm massage therapists.  Santa was on hand to take pictures and offer holiday promises.

Business guests included Jeffrey Campos - President and CEO of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Fabian Ortega – Serivicios de la Raza, Gilberto Robles - Dex Media, Zee Ferrufino - KBNO Radio and Denver Hispanic Chamber Board member, Juanita Gable - Denver Athletic Club, Luis Colon –Board Chair of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Ric Padilla – Qwest and Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board member, and Mark McCrory - Cingular Wireless Services.

Additional event sponsors were Dex En Español, Kroenke Sports, Pepsi and Bud Light.

Festivo!!
