The Western Fantasy Young Professionals Committee held the 1st Annual Western Fantasy Brandin' Party, the "under 40" kick-off for the 2008 Western Fantasy Gala. This was a complimentary event designed to introduce the Western Fantasy Gala to the under 40 demographic.

This western-themed party was held at the studio of Duke Bearsdley, which is located in the historic Rockmount Building in downtown Denver. Guests were invited to enjoy a southwestern style buffet provided by Gourmet Fine Catering, and specialty drinks provided by 42 Below Vodka. They were also given a special opportunity to purchase tickets at the event to attend the 2008 Western Fantasy Gala for the fantastic price of $150.00. Their ticket also entered them into a drawing for some fabulous door prizes.

Emcee Kelly Ford, with KYGO, welcomed the guests and shared the details of this year's Western Fantasy Gala. Since its inception in 1994, Western Fantasy has raised $16 million to support Volunteers of America helping children and families and our elderly neighbors in need across Colorado. This year's Western Fantasy Gala will be held at the National Western Events Center on Saturday, October 25, 2008.

Dirks Bentley will be the hot country music star at this year's event. Individual reservations are $300, which will include a fabulous catered dinner by Epicurean with beverages and a keepsake patron gift from Neiman Marcus. Young Professional tickets (ages 21-39) can be purchased for $150.00. Corporate table information is available on the website. The gala will also have an impressive live auction and an exciting "panning for jewelry" at Hyde Park Jewelers Gold & Silver mine. Don't miss this memorable and fun evening.
