On Monday, October 18th local artists, designers and philantropists got a sneak preview of the highly-coveted artwork featured at ArtReach Denver's 2010 signature Dine & D'Art event. The evening was a fashionable kick off that included hors d'oeuvres, wine sampling and an opportunity to purchase presale tickets to the event. Dine & D'art offers tickets for $400 per couple for not only a lively social event and dinner, but also, to take home an original piece of art that evening.
The evening benefits the art programs offered through ArtReach. Their mission is to "change lives through the arts by providing access to arts and clultural experiences for underserved and at-risk people of all ages." ArtReach and their supporting organizations and donors strive to take down barriers so that everyone in the
ArtReach reaches more than 60,000 people annually through its programs. The Community Tickets program annually distributes over $1,000,0000 arts and cultural event tickets to 50,000 at-risk and underserved individuals and families. The programs reaches populations through 170 members (nonprofit
and schools), and is a community outreach arm for more than 100 local cultural, historic and scientific organizations that donate tickets for distribution to populations they don't often reach. The Arts Benefiting
Kids program brings multi-disciplinary arts learning to workshops, performances and tours and transportation to local museums and cultural centers. The program is provided through partnerships with more than 75 cultural performance organizations, professional artists, and museums that present, instruct or provide tours for the program. ArtReach contracts with professional teaching artists/performers to bring kids meaningful and quality art experiences, and a strong commitments to each participant. The
Arts Express program provides individuals and families with free and safe transportation to events.
