Paris in Denver, who’d have thought? Magically appearing downtown, the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe materialized for just an evening with AMC’s Dinner in White. The attire, was of course, all white.

Announcing the location an hour before the event, the Dinner in White plays off the concept created in France. Diners provide their own picnic-style dinners, bring utensils, and the event’s location is kept super secret until an hour beforehand. While not in the courtyard at Notre Dame, the event was an extreme success, offering a different venue and atmosphere for charitable guests.

Co-Chairs Shana Briggs and Krista Gilbertson welcomed attendees, thanking the YP contributors. Even Miss Colorado, Diana Dreman, was in attendance, her platform being cancer prevention and her mother currently participating in cancer research herself. Kasia Iwaniczko MacLeod shared personal stories and the triumphs of overcoming cancer several times, explaining the benefits and importance of AMC and the funds raised through efforts such as Dinner in White.

Music by Meniskus, a wine wall in the shape of the Arc de Triomphe, a festive atmosphere, and a white balloon release in celebration of the efforts towards cancer research all contributed to the wonderful, warm summer evening. To learn more about AMC, visit
