The energy was as electric as the Flamenco dancers’ performances at this year’s Fiesta 2011 presented by Clinica Tepeyac. The 16th annual celebration was an evening of gratitude, promise, and hope as the foundation looks to the future.
Mayor Michael Hancock welcomed attendees and spoke of the positive influence of Clinica Tepayec. Providing culturally competent healthcare and preventative health services, the organization serves uninsured and underinsured, low-income families promoting healthy lifestyles and family well-being.
Heath Center at Auraria was awarded the 2011 Outstanding Community Partner, while Dr. Robert Williams received the 2011 Founder Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service. The 2011 Health Advocacy Award went to Dr. Chris Urbina in recognition of his support of health care safety net programs, such as Clinica Tepeyac.
