The beautiful clubhouse at the Sanctuary Golf Course provided an elegant backdrop for the 7th annual Raising Spirits Wine Tasting and Auction for Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health network. Incorporating a traditional wine-tasting format, Raising Spirits featured plentiful food, desserts, coffee and of course, elegantly served national and international wines.
Guests enjoyed visiting a total of ten wine tasting stations and dining on a buffet of appetizers and pasta. Peneplain Jazz provided a selection of Jazz music throughout the evening, a perfect complement to the gorgeous surroundings at the Sanctuary Golf Course.
The purpose of the evening was Raising Spirits for those less fortunate, as all proceeds provide direct services to uninsured and under-insured individuals in critical need of mental health and substance abuse treatment services in our community.
The silent auction and brief live auction by Shelly St. John and The Auction Divas offered unique, adventure-based items that are perfect for both personal enjoyment and holiday gift giving.
The evening ended on a sweet note, as guests enjoyed coffee and a selection of desserts, including a unique s'mores buffet.
