From shrimp and oysters to live music and festive atmosphere, the 17th Annual VOA Red Wine and Seafood benefit was a blast. Benefitting the Brandon Center, a shelter for battered women and children, the room was packed at the historic Oxford Hotel.
Quinn Washington and Kristi Fote co-chaired the event, with familiar faces Larry Mizel, Penny Parker, Molly Fortune, Frances Owens, and Murphy Huston in attendance.
An emergency shelter for homeless women and homeless women with children, the Brandon Center is unfortunately full every night of the year. A haven from domestic violence, the center provides counseling, GED preparation, and housing referral assistance.
