Celebrating 10 years of the Achieve Gala, Denver Public Schools regaled guests at the Hyatt Regency ballroom—with 1,200 in attendance.

Drum lines, children’s choral performances, and moving speeches by students and graduated from the Denver Public School system made for an excellent evening. President and CEO Kristin Colon welcomed guests while CEO of UMB Bank Jon Robinson joked about being the newest kid on the block for the board. Mayor Michael Hancock donned a DPS hat and South High School senior Mawukle Yebuah thanked past gala chairs during the evening.
