DENVER -- More than 750 people gathered at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel on Thursday to feast on soup and finger food from 23 of the city's finest restaurants at the 13th annual Soup for the Soul.
The event, which raises money for end-of-life care through Porter Hospice, St. Anthony Hospice and the Butterfly Program, also featured a silent auction complete with cell phone bidding, an original touch.
The guests enjoyed soups and hand-crafted appetizers from some of the most acclaimed chefs in Denver.
Former U.S. Olympic skier and NFL return specialist Jeremy Bloom received the Legacy Award of Courage for his foundation, Wish of a Lifetime Charity, which endeavors to foster respect and appreciation for seniors by granting lifetime wishes.
