New Campaign Partner of the Year HUB International
More than two hundred community board members, volunteers, employers and donors showed up for the third annual Community Health Charities of Colorado Health Heroes at Work Recognition Breakfast at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
The event was hosted by Jim Goddard, president and CEO of the 9Health Fair, and featured a keynote address by US Paralympic champion and Director on the Board of Craig Hospital, Jason Reiger.
During the breakfast, 54 community workplaces that are partnered with Community Health Charities of Colorado were recognized and several workplaces were honored for their successful donation campaigns. Recipients included
Alice Applebaum was honored as the Community Health Hero of the Year for her work with various children’s charities around Denver.
Community Health Charities of Colorado is the only Colorado nonprofit dedicated to inclusion of health nonprofits in workplace giving campaigns. For over three decades, Community Health Charities of Colorado has offered the power of efficient payroll deduction fundraising to our workplace partners, encouraging individual employees to designate the charity of their choice in their workplace giving campaign.
