The membership event was held in one of the new lofts in downtown Denver. The Gathering Place could not have found a more beautiful home. This year’s membership event was held in the home of Leigh and Wayne Dale Dee Dee Parker with Debbie McCarty Laura Stubbs and April Yeros Kristal McGrath
Guests enjoyed viewing the great space Farideh McBroom and Margarel Helwig Amber Williams was one of thousands of women who were helped by The Gathering Place. Williams was kind enough to come to the membership event and tell everyone her story. Leslie Foster, President and CEO of The Gathering Place, speaks about what the organization has done to help low income families.
Daria Kane spoke about The Gathering Place and toasted to their 15th anniversary Guests toast to the 15th anniversary of The Gathering Place The Gathering Place is a daytime shelter for women and their children experiencing homelessness and poverty. Martha Kallestad speaks with guests
Homeowner Wayne Dale prepared the food for the guests. Madeleine and Rich Lee Amber Williams spoke about the impact The Gathering Place had on her life.
Amber Williams was one of the speakers for the membership event. She shared her tragic life story and how The Gathering Place was able to help her get her life back on track.
