The night of the gala, Grand Marshals Carol and Joel Farkas presented a $450,000 donation for Lupus research. February 25th was a night to celebrate - for the gift and it was Carol's 45th Birthday. Carol, a Lupus survivor, wanted to announce their gift at the gala, in an effort to inspire others. Happy Birthday Carol! Feathers flew and brows were patted dry when these long-legged, creatively covered dancers...
...shimmed their way onto the dance floor for the Carnival Parade. Lots of color, drums... ...beaded costumes... ... more feathers...
...sultry moves... ...and high kicks from both the dancers... ...and guys on stilts. The Le Clique group continued the party, pulling guests from the audience onto the dance floor, where they stayed to the stroke of midnight.
