The Salvation Army Band greeted Festival of Trees in the driveway of the Marriott City Center member blows the baritone "Christmas Carnivale," a fiber optic Christmas tree designed by Patrick Williams, won 2nd place Patrick Williams, chair of the design committee for the second year in a row.. "What could be nearer and dearer to a designer's heart than a program that fosters creativity, talent and an interest in the arts?" he wrote in this year's program. "Tracey's the one who makes this all happen, you know," said the bubbly Ms. Kelce.
Gala Co-Chair Martha Kelce and John Lundberg, owner of Lundberg's Scandanavian Bakery. "We're both from MinneSOta," explains Martha. Gala Co-char Katherine Honnen and her husband Mark Terri Vitale, publisher of Colorado Expressions and Confetti magazines, and Paul Keebler of NorthWestern Mutual Financial Services Jan and Bill Hurt, the festival's best customers and honorary chairmen of the event, have been at every Festival of Trees since the first one in 1981 at Mammouth Gardens. The parents of six have been known to buy 16 trees.
