| Costume Design & Creation Workshop for Children/Teens Costume Design & Creation Workshop for Children/Teens Instructor: Bree Angela Dates: Thursday, October 17 – Friday, October 18 (2 days) Time: 3:30 pm-6:00 pm Fees: $100 public/ $90 members Ages: 10 – 15 years old Materials list can be found on the website. Inspired by puppetry, theatre and fashion, this workshop will allow students to design, and then create a costume. Everyone will learn how to draw patterns, work with fabric, and pieces different costume components together. Students will leave with a wearable costume. The instructor, Bree Angela, has years of experience creating costumes and is the Textiles and Children’s Designer at the Denver Art Museum. Age Range: 10 – 15 years |

| Observational Drawing Observational Drawing Instructor: Eric Hochuli Dates: Saturday, September 14-Sunday, September 15 (2 days) Time: 10:00 pm-3:00 pm Fees: $112 public/ $100 members Ages: 7-12 years old Material list can be found on the website. Students will learn to draw with pencil and watercolor pencil by creating scenes from photographs and still lives staged in the classroom. The instructor will teach students how to shade, create texture, build a composition, and much more. Age Range: 7-12 years |

| Portfolio Prep Portfolio Prep Instructor: Eric Hochuli Dates: Tuesday, September 17-Thursday, September 19 (3 days) Time: 4:00 pm-6:00 pm Fees: $50 public/ $42 members Ages: high school students Material list can be found on the website. This time will be spent helping students get their portfolio ready for their next step in art. Students will learn how to photograph 2D and 3D work, continue work on pieces that they had started in school or at home, and talk with the instructor for technique and aesthetic advice. Everyone will leave with completed pieces and knowledge on how to prep their portfolio moving forward. Age Range: high school students |

Looking at techniques used by contemporary street and graffiti artists, students will make their own reusable stencil to take home with them. Age Range: 12-17 |
